Just for fun, to use up a bunch of waste beads at one time, I loomed this bright bracelet. It's one of my favorites when wearing tie-dye tees. It reminds me of the jelly/pectin fruit slice candies.
Embellished RAW bracelet made for a friend who loves pink and baby blue.
What do do with yucky crusty fake pearls? Why, make a gaudy ocean themed bracelet, of course! Done in embellished RAW.
First commissioned loomed bracelet, for a neighbor who was nuts about goldfish. Even the clasp beads are goldfish.
This dragon was troublesome! Loomed first the 'traditional way, with thread and the ends woven in, it kept breaking. So I unstrung the entire bracelet carefully, row by row, and re-loomed it using pulled warps and monofilament. Now it's my favorite to wear anytime.
Embellished RAW, using cobalt beads as the base and an AB finished black as the accent. This was a gift for a friend who wanted something classy.
This embellished RAW bracelet used PC beads from my first experiments with the clay, and bead soup from my first bead purchases. This has since been dismantled.
Earthtone beads from a flea-market necklace were used to create this gaudy RAW bracelet.
If this is familiar, it's because it placed second at the bead-patterns.com 'Timeless Bracelet Contest' in spring 2004. The roses are polymer clay on a random green and teal loomed base with glass pearl and firepolished accents. The roses are delicate so this is not an everyday-wear item.
Loomed with the stones on the warp threads, this reminded me of Japanese rock gardens and oriental architecture.
Designs are all my own original work unless noted below. If I have inadvertently posted
something that you recognize as another's work, please let me know so I may credit them
properly. It has been a while between beading items and posting them to the web, so I may
have missed one or two. :)
